California Derby Officials
Who are the California Derby Officals (CDO)
CDO is an organization of California Roller Derby Officials around the Bay Area untied to any one Derby League. Volunteer Membership is comprised of Derby Officials who officiate games staffed by CDO. Leadership is comprised of derby officials who are members of the California Derby Galaxy (CDG) coalition.
CDO's main purpose is to staff roller derby games and events primarily for CDG, but also CDG affiliate Leagues and Other Leagues around the Bay Area.
Membership in the CDO
CDO Members
Membership is obtained by officiating CDO Staffed events, and lasts for 1 year from the last CDO staffed event worked. The primary advantages of membership are:
Notification of upcoming CDO staffed events and other derby events in and around the area.
Propagation of communication among officials in the multitude of derby leagues in and around the California Bay Area.
Membership in an officiating community for those officials
CDO Leadership
Representative Officials from participating derby leagues in the California Derby Galaxy (CDG) coalition make up the leadership of the CDO. The leadership committee's primary roles are:
To staff officials for CDG and other Roller Derby events on request.

Requesting Officials for Your Event
CDO is an organized group of Officials who can staff your Roller Derby events. We primarily staff CDG events throughout the year, but also CDG League Affiliate and Other Leagues in and around the Bay Area.
